IMPORTANT INFORMATION / 2026-10-28
It's a ritual.
Not a promise.
Please read this before sending a message. This is a creative online artwork, and it has practical limits.
01 / Not a real transmission
Messages are stored by this website; they are not transmitted into outer space, sent to a real celestial object or received by a supernatural entity. Stars, coordinates, distances, sectors and constellations are symbolic designs, not actual astronomical observations or registered star names. The website does not promise that a wish will be fulfilled or that the universe will respond.
02 / Not advice or emergency support
This website does not provide psychological therapy, medical, legal, financial, spiritual or other professional advice. It is not monitored for emergencies and cannot respond to urgent requests. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or qualified help directly.
03 / Privacy is a choice with limits
Private messages are not displayed in the public universe, but anyone with the secret return link can read them. Public messages can be accessed, copied, quoted, indexed, archived or shared by other people. Even after deletion, external copies or search caches may remain. Do not submit passwords, addresses, financial data, confidential information, another person's personal data, or anything you would regret publishing.
04 / Public user content may be unmoderated
Public messages are user-generated submissions from visitors. They may appear without prior review and may therefore be unmoderated or only reactively moderated after reports. Public messages are not statements by the website operator and do not necessarily reflect the operator's views, beliefs or endorsements.
We do not guarantee that public messages are accurate, appropriate, kind, original or lawful. Visitors must not submit threats, hate or harassment, illegal or explicit content, malware, spam, copyright-infringing material, or identifying information about other people without permission. We may hide, suppress or remove content and restrict access as necessary.
05 / Availability, data and security
The service is provided as available. We take practical security precautions but cannot guarantee perfect security, uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, successful downloads or permanent recovery of a private link. If your message matters to you, retain a copy yourself. Data can be affected by errors, outages, hosting-provider backups and circumstances beyond our control.
06 / Optional PayPal contributions
The service is free. Voluntary contributions, if enabled, support the website and its creator. They are not payment for a successful wish or a supernatural result, and they are not charitable donations or tax-deductible gifts unless explicitly and lawfully identified as such. Payments are handled by PayPal under its own terms; the website does not store your payment credentials.
07 / Responsibility and limitations
You are responsible for choosing what to submit and whether it should be public. You should not rely on this website to make important personal, medical, legal or financial decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims responsibility for the contents of public user submissions and does not accept liability for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the service or reliance on public messages. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
08 / Questions or reports
If you find a public message that contains personal information, harassment or other prohibited content, use the Report link on that star page. For other enquiries, email admin@sendamessagetotheuniverse.com or see our Privacy Notice.
This page is intended as plain-language notice, not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Also see the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice.
